Welcome to A Woman's View's Email Center. In order to give you the best possible care, we have organized the Email Center according to the subject of your email. Please take a moment to review our email tips and policies, then select your topic or need from the list below.
A Woman's View will not answer specific medical questions via email. It is almost impossible to get all the necessary information from an email letter to give appropriate medical advice. If you have a medical need, please call our office at (828) 345-0800. General questions may be emailed to our Call Nurse below.
Some of the questions of a general nature may be added to our Frequently Asked Questions page. This FAQ page will be maintained and updated on a regular basis, so be sure and check it often.
As always, if you do find yourself with a medical emergency contact 911 or your own physician immediately.
Due to the impersonal nature of e-mail, any advice given via e-mail is intended only for general information and should not replace the advice of your own physician. Usually, our healthcare providers are limited to information that you provide in your e-mail, which may not be sufficient to give specific instructions, diagnosis or advice.
Except for prescription refills, our e-mail service is merely intended as a courtesy for our Internet friends. Due to this, it may take several weeks for a response to appear on our FAQ page. Also, non-specific questions or questions deemed inappropriate by A Woman's View will not be answered. Do not e-mail any emergency or otherwise urgent questions or requests.
In order to help get answers to you faster, we have established a number of email accounts for specific personnel at A Woman's View according to their role in your health care. Please select the type of question you have and you will be taken to a form that will be read by the appropriate individual. If you do not receive a reply within 24 hours, please call our office at (828) 345-0800.
