Now you can access all the advantages of clinically proven Intense Pulsed Light (IPLTM) technology using Photorejuvenation - the most exciting new procedure in aesthetic medicine. Thanks to a smart, simple-to-use operation, the IPL Quantum SR system makes it easy for you to receive non-ablative skin treatments that offer a "no-downtime" procedure where you can resume activities immediately.
A Woman's View is happy to now offer the treatment of vascular lesions with the
Lumenis IPL Quantum laser. The Quantum can treat a much wider range of
problems, including:
- Age spots
- Broken capillaries
- Telangiectasias (spider veins)
- Most benign brown pigments
Unlike more aggressive surgery, IPL Skin Treatments using Photorejuvenation treat the full face for a far more aesthetically pleasing effect. Typically performed in four to six treatments over four months, IPL provides gradual improvement with very low risk that patients and physicians find tremendously satisfying. And the procedure is safe enough for application on the neck, chest and hands. In short, photorejuvenation with the IPL Quantum SR offers a tremendous opportunity for you.
IPL treatments quantity, size, and depth of the problem area. Most patients need between three and five 30-90 minute sessions. Sessions are usually spaced 8-12 weeks apart and are performed in the doctor's office without the costs and risks of hospitalization or general anesthesia. It is important that you are not tanned or tanning when taking these treatments. Please call for more information.
Because the length and number of treatments can vary widely depending on your specific situation, it is not possible to give a price for treatments unless you are seen in person. To find out what will be involved in your specific situation, including an estimated cost, you will need to schedule a consultation with our provider.
The laser treatment itself feels like numerous small snaps with a rubber band or tiny pin pricks. Many patients do not require anesthesia during the procedure, but topical or local anesthesia is provided for those who do.
The appearance of the treated area immediately after a laser session will vary from patient to patient depending on the extent of treatment. Immediate side-effects, if any, are minor. They may include redness, light crusting, or tenderness, all of which disappear in a short time.
