Alicia Walsh, MD graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.  She then attended the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School where she was elected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society.  She did her residency and internship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and worked at Women's Care, PC, in Somerville, NJ prior to moving to Morganton, NC with her husband, a Morganton Ophthalmologist.  They live in Morganton with their two daughters.
