Target Heart Rate Calculator

Target Heart Rate Calculator

Your target heart rate is the range that is considered safe for you to work your heart
when you do aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise includes running, cycling, and swimming
laps. Your target heart rate is a percentage of what your maximum heart rate should
be. The more fit you are, the higher the percentage can go. This calculator uses your
age to figure out your target heart rate.

Calorie Burn Rate Calculator

Calorie Burn Rate Calculator

The more active you are, the more calories you burn. Running or jogging, for instance, burns more calories than bowling. Carrying your clubs when golfing burns more calories than riding in a golf cart. Your weight also affects the number of calories burned: The more you weigh, the more calories you burn. Fill in your weight, and the calculator will provide you with a list of activities and an approximation of how many calories you will burn. If you haven’t been active, be sure to check with your health care provider before starting an exercise program.

Adult BMI Calculator

Body Mass Index Calculator

Rather than relying only on the bathroom scale to tell you if
you’re overweight, experts say you should also know your body mass index (BMI). BMI
takes into
account not just your weight, but also your height to indicate body fat. The
goal for most people is a BMI that’s over 18 and under 25. This tool is for adults.
BMIs for children and teens use age, plus height and weight.

Ovulation Date Calculator

Ovulation Date Calculator

A woman is able to become pregnant (fertile) only during a certain part of her monthly
cycle. That is just before and during ovulation. By learning when you ovulate, you
can predict when you’re likely to be fertile. This calculator gives approximate ovulation
dates and fertile times for women who have regular periods. (Regular periods mean
having a period every 21 to 35 days.) Fertility charting, basal temperature tracking,
and purchased ovulation test kits can also be used to help predict a woman’s fertile
times. These are especially useful if a woman has irregular periods.

Please note that the date you enter in the calculator may result in an ovulation date
that has already passed. This will occur if you are nearing your next menstrual start
date.

This calculator is not meant for women who are already pregnant. It cannot and should
not be used as an aid to preventing pregnancy. This calculator is provided for educational
purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional health care. Always
consult with a healthcare provider for advice concerning your health.
